First date

We went on a date our very first time,
You inspired me and I made this rhyme.
We were walking down the lonely road
Talking for hours in the love's code.

I bought you flowers on our second date
And you forgave me cause I was late.
You were so happy and you said you loved me
And then you kissed me under our tree.

We were talking hours on the phone
Saying 'I miss you' or 'I feel alone'.
I never thought this was gonna end,
Cause you were my really best friend.

I don't know what's going on in my head,
There's an empty space where the light is red.
That was the place where you were sitting by me
Telling love stories and reading poetry.
